Hi friends!  It's Nicolle and I'm catching up from a wonderful weekend with bible journaling and fellowship!  We had our group meeting and it was so fun!  We tried out the napkin technique (follow @misstracycreates on youtube and watch her video).  I shared my heart about the keys to success to obtain dreams.

When the to do lists drown out your dream list; we all have that list of things we would love to do.   Whether it's a career goal, a ministry dream, future projects, or life goals, these dreams sometimes get pushed out of the way because we lack confidence, motivation, or just time.

Last month I talked about being overwhelmed.  Sometimes we put too much on our plates, get frustrated, and give up.  Like a high tower of impossibility, instead of training ourselves for the climb, we let insecurities and negative talk disrupt our abilities.

I've found truth in the bible that will help you keep focus and learn the keys to success.

Proverbs 24:14
Wisdom is sweet to the soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future and your hopes will not be cut short.

Proverbs 21:5
The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.

Proverbs 16:3
Commit your activities to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

The three keys found in these verses:
wisdom
diligence
commit

Isn't it true that to obtain success these three things need to be present?

I then researched each of these in the bible and this is what I found:

James 3:17
But wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

Proverbs 10:4
A lazy hand causes poverty but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

Proverbs 12:24
The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor.

Psalm 37:45
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and he will fulfill.

In order to achieve our goals and be successful we need to not only seek wisdom for that goal, but also seek wisdom from God.   We must be diligent in our tasks to reach that goal, and also diligent in our prayer life and also our relationship with God.  And we must be committed.  Committed to the goal and committed faithfully to God.

Philippians 3:14
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me.

Our confidence and strength comes from the Lord.  Never let self doubt or negative talk disrupt your future!  Trust in God!

Psalm 46:5
God is within her, she will NOT fail!

I pray you find hope in God and that you would be bold enough to commit your life to Jesus, and he will grant your the desires of your heart!  Thank you for visiting!  Sending blessings your way!

XOXO

Nicolle
